How Effective Is LENS Therapy?

Symptoms decrease or resolve quickly, with clients reporting noticeable differences within a few sessions. Overall, 85% of clients have benefitted significantly from the LENS. However, like any therapy, it works best for people that are motivated and want to improve. Attitude and willingness for change are critical.

How long will each session be?

Your first session is the longest (50mins) as we explain the LENS process to you, discuss concerns you may have and why you have come to see us. We then do the initial “Brain Map” to see which areas need attention. Each session thereafter will be allotted 30mins for initial conversational check-in and LENS application.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on each individual's psychophysiology. For most, 9-12 sessions are ample to see and experience improvements in their overall functionality. Many individuals come back once a month to quarterly to get a minor ‘recalibration’ because that’s what they feel is ‘optimal’ for their mental acuity and overall functionality.

We will be reviewing the results and producing additional brain maps to see changes that are happening. Individuals with degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia or Alzheimers will need ongoing LENS sessions to continue experiencing results. A recommendation for further sessions can be made at that time if necessary.

When will I start to see changes?

A small few may see a change within their 1st-3rd session, however, most see a difference after their 3rd-6th visit.

Are there are side effects?

Some clients feel a sensation of being “wired or tired”(exhausted or energized). Some people do experience old feelings resurface without notice, these feelings can be of sadness, anger or fear. These sensations typically do not last long and can go as quick as they came.

Does LENS hurt, is there an Electric Shock during the session?

NO! There are no electrical currents going through your body with the LENS, only frequencies to activate the brain waves into recalibrating into more efficient patterns. The actual process involves placing a small electrode on the scalp (or can be on the body as well), which emits very low-amplitude electromagnetic pulses. The electric impulse we use is no more powerful than that of a cellphone. You will feel no pain when using LENS Neurofeedback. Promise.

What ages can use LENS?

Any age person can use the LENS system. Children as young as 3 months have used our LENS.

What makes LENS different from typical Neurofeedback therapy?

LENS does not require you to sit in front of a computer viewing images or listening to sounds to retrain the brain. LENS does not retrain your brain, it sends your own unique brain waves back to itself to reorganize, recalibrate and retune itself into a more harmonious pattern. You just sit, relax and let your trained practitioner administer the LENS.
